Interview Guides serve as a co-pilot during candidate interviews. They contain the candidate's name, core competencies, interview questions, real-time scoring, and notes taken during the conversation. Interview Guides can be imported from most ATS integrations or created directly within Pillar's application.
NOTE: For Interview Guides to show up during an interview, a video conferencing tool must be connected to the Pillar application. This is typically done through the marketplace for the conferencing tool (Zoom Marketplace, Chrome Webstore Extensions, etc.).

Assigning Interview Guides to Roles
Once an Interview Guide has been created in the application, it must be associated with a role/requisition. This informs the AI interview companion which Interview Guide to use when starting an interview for a specific role!

- Click Apply Changes.
Once the Interview Guide has been assigned to a role, it will be used for future interviews.
Skills
Our AI interview companion has several default skills interviewers can use within Interview Guides. Skills such as Accountability, Reliability, and Leadership are heavily used metrics when evaluating a candidate's qualifications for a role. The Pillar application uses Skills to categorize the types of questions asked during the interview, leading to more concise scoring and evaluation after the discussion.
After clicking on Skills to add to the interview guide, users will then be prompted to add questions related to each Skill. Pre-populated questions have been loaded into each of the default Skills listed within Pillar. Choose these questions from the drop-down list, or choose to draft your own!
